As the senior accountant for the Foundation, Katie assists in managing the organization’s financial reporting and audit and tax compliance.
She worked in public accounting, nonprofit communications, and as a librarian, specifically in digital asset management and digital archiving, prior to joining the Foundation. She loves to organize information, whether financial or literary.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN, along with a bachelor’s in English and art history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a master’s in library and information sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She’s an avid reader and an occasional potter (hand building is her favorite). She lives in Bloomington, MN, with her family and many, many pets, ranging from dogs and cats to chickens and tortoises.
