The Director of Finance & Accounting (DFA) ensures the Foundation’s $500M+ endowment flows within the organization and to grantee partners in ways that advance the Foundation’s mission, vision, and values. The position leads our team that provides high-value finance activities, such as budgeting, accounting, benefits administration, and more.
Candidates should have a growth mindset and an enthusiasm for creative problem solving. The position builds relationships with key internal and external partners, an alignment with the Foundation’s justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) approach, and a collaborative work style that conveys trust and confidence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven, intellectually curious finance professional who has at least eight–10 years of accounting experience. The working environment is hybrid and based in St. Paul, MN. The starting salary range is $160,000–$180,000, and we offer excellent and holistic benefits.
