Oweesta to Livestream Native Gathering Day Talks on Successful, Lasting Investment in Indian Country on Oct. 22

On Tuesday, October 22, First Nations Oweesta Corporation (Oweesta) will stream, through its Facebook page, three “NEDTalks” (Native Economic Development Talks) as part of its 2019 Native CDFI Convening. Eminent leaders in the field will share their insights on how investing in Indian Country can propel lasting financial growth and stability in underserved Native communities while simultaneously offering competitive returns for investors. Oweesta’s convening is part of the four-day Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) Conference held in Washington, DC. The conference is a marquee event in the community development financial institutions (CDFI) industry each year.
